anisotropic filtering only goes to 8x for me?

more or less what the topic says. I believe I read a hotfix that would say high settings would make it 16x, but the max setting I can pick is 8x for some reason. just have the latest drivers on my Geforce 1080 Ti as well if that makes any difference.

Changed High graphics setting to set Anisotropic Filtering to 16x instead of 8x. Added a faster 2x Anisotropic Filtering setting and removed the 16x option to save people from themselves.
