What are the Player perspectives on Stalker Mode?
DE has teased Stalker Mode, a PvP mode that allows players to attack PvE players in their missions under the guise of the Stalker. What are the player views on this, and should such a mode be Opt-In? What rewards would you want to be earned by beating players as Stalker or beating the Stalker as players in mission?

Forced PvP is NEVER a good thing.. so either make it opt-in, or keep it away from the game

Wanna troll as Nekros? Get 3 Nekros' and enter defense. Press 4 and keep your 4 up. Since shadows effect render limit - each wave is like 5 minutes long, enemies spawn like one by one.

I play Nekros, and damn anyone who tells me how to use my Shadows. If they can't kill fast enough, I take the measures I need to survive.
I'm pretty sure you wont get 'invaded' unless you're marked by the Stalker, in which case will be easy to avoid if you don't assassinate bosses. They might even redo that I dunno. But its not going to be as bad as some of you think... this talk of 'griefing' will be minimized by not being marked.

I'm not even a big fan of PvP but I'm ok with a Stalker mode. I kinda hope that Teshin will be able to deploy his own type of hunters to hunt down the stalkers tho when they invade to counter what could possibly be a negative experience for a lone tenno. Maybe put more use for the Conclave other than it just being a PvP Arena.

Anywho, I'm ok with player controlled stalkers. Stalker doesn't seem too imposing or even a threat as he is right now and he's supposed to be, so I think in the right players hands he could be a challenge that people might even enjoy. Maybe they should disable parkour for the stalker tho and just give him ability sets that make up for his lack of mobility. The last thing we need is a continuation of Conclave, where everyone just jumps everywhere and shoots, whoever gets the hit wins type of crap.

while I totally agree that Limbo is bad for the game in any sense, it lets people do everything without lifting a finger, it lets them afk leech, it makes them troll allies - I can see why it he still in game.

Some players are just bad, if you check stats for any competitive video game ever it is obvious that around 60-65% players are unable to deliver on basic thing "I came into this battle with 100hp I will die only after I do 100hp" or aka 1 k/d ratio or below 50% victories. 50% win ratio should mean that you are an average player no matter how many players are in that game (battle royale excluded ofc).

Not being able to at least cover your investment into the game, to speak in poker terms, is a sign of a bot. As long as you are not able to do that you are bad at that game.

So when you take that into consideration you figure that at least 50% of players are bot level players you kinda figure out that there is A LOT of them. Being bad comes from many aspects in warframe, reactions, timing, building, synergy. Limbo lets you forget that you are bad as you do not need to react as you are an infinite tank, there is no need to nail the timing in order to survive or do stuff as you are Limbo, there is no need to know building as 0 mod Limbo can do Sortie missions and you do not need to know ♥♥♥♥ about the game's synergies as you just click Shift or 4 and you are in a god mode.

God Mode is technically a cheat, and as a cheat it makes the game boring, but for some people cheating is the only way to be relevant. That it the place for Limbo, to be a tool for bots to compensate and a toy for AFK farmers who use AFK scripts (as blatantly confirmed by well known cheater on this forum).

While it is obvious how much harm Limbo brings in terms of how much he pisses off people, he brings a lot of benefit to bots and there are a lot of bots. Some are at least somewhat trying and they run Rhino, but most of those bad players just do Limbo, Loki, Octavia on sorties to show off their talent.

Disclaimer, there is nothing wrong in being a bad player, if more than half of playerbase is unable to contribute reliably then it kinda means that if you are a good player then there is something wrong with you, kinda the law of who is crazy and who is not.
Without trying to offend anyone I just tried to put some reason into why Limbo exists as is, within DE different people work on different kinds of Warframes, give Limbo to Pablo and he will make him fun and skill based as Harrow is, or Garuda.

Reworking him a bit before Limbo Prime release without a notice, like no words on Prime Time or Dev Streams gives me a slight clue that there are some disagreements within DE on Limbo, likely same disagreements we players have.

It is a lot of noise and sob stories about Limbo isnt nearly as bad as he is made out to be. Focus on Stalker. I for one, welcome the mode. I could use a little chaos for once.

Stalker was dangerous and hard to fight, then secon dream happened.
The idea has been on the table for a pretty long time.
I personally do not like mixing up PvP and PvE together even if it is optional, though it is unclear how it will work exactly, I just hope it will be implemented correctly without the need of a wall of red text, updates and relogs.

not provoked at all, maybe you really lack reading skills as everything seems like provoked to you as I am quite a chill person, but guess you got provoked so much by my comment that you ignored entire topic and went out to low key insult as you always do

Maybe not have him drop ♥♥♥♥ like Heavy Impact?
No one needs 50 blueprints of Dread.

Limbo is not God Mode. If I press shift, I can hide from enemies or troll them but I can't do anything else. I can't contribute or pick anything up, etc. If I press 4, I can hit enemies and hurt them, but usually cannot kill them--even with Blind Rage and a bunch of power mods. If I don't press 2, they are inside with me and can down me easily. If I press 2 I can hide and be in my strongest position in the Rift; however, nullifiers spam at higher levels pretty quickly and I can't tell you how many times I use cataclysm only to have it bashed away immediately. There have been games where I can't even use it because there are so many nullifiers. That's when Limbo gets one-shotted because he has no armor.

Well as I see it the Stalker is kind of in a good spot.
He isn't supposed to be some endgame boss... I still remember going into missions with all crap gear.. fine enough to solo the planet level guys but when I see the lights flash I just expected to lose a life and carry on. With good gear he becomes nothing but I think that is fine.

So the end result being that, at best, this PVP stalker mode is just RNG newb hunting... and they want special rewards for that?

Except he's not.
He becomes absolutely trivial the moment you have any amount of well-modded equipment.
He becomes an annoying chore when you know how to not die to him but have ♥♥♥♥ for gear at that moment.
That's not a good spot for him to be in, especially when he's needed for War, Hate, Dread, and Despair. The issue, though, is that (more often than not) he drops ♥♥♥♥ like Heavy Impact if he doesn't drop Dread.

I doubt they do.
I threw that in because it'd be the only way DE would be able to garner any support for it; no one in their right mind would support low-key forced PvP in PvE missions.

it's probably will be disabled by default and be as dead as pvp mode, otherwise ♥♥♥♥ will cry way too hard.
