As for worth of a new player, not neccessarily. Their base versions are fine

Prime Vaults are overpriced for what they offer. They are more of a way to show support to developers.

It will be far more worth for you to wait for a platinum discount from daily rewards, buying a lot of platinum, and then using that platinum to get those Warframes from other players.

55€ = 1200 Plats (+2 Primes inkl slots + 4 Prime Weapons inkl slots, and 4 accessoires)
45€ = 1000 Plats

I did buy a Rhino Prime myself but that was because I felt I had played a ton of this game and wanted to support the devs.

Discounts aren't that rare. I've gotten like 5 of the -75% ones since I returned a few weeks ago. Sure, you will almost always get a -75% if you leave for a long while and then return, but still, you will be getting a discount in any way or the other soonish enough.

As for getting the vault pack, it's up to you. The pack comes with plat plus a few cosmetics not found anywhere else, plus of course the frames themselves.

Hey, if ypu spend $50.00 and play 100 hours, that's .50 cents an hour play. If you play 250 hours that's .20 cents an hour. Sounds like cheap entertainment to me. But yes, the base versions play just fine. But the Primes do look good!

Well atleast i would argue it's up to you. If you think this Game worth an "Full-Price" and you want to support the Dev's than i'd say it actually could worth it. Because like you pointed out:

And with 1200 Plat you can do very much for the beginning, like buying Warframe / Weapon Slots and such.

This is actually another (good) Question/Point. A Friend and i often discuss the Value of Platinum. If you look at the Price itself, it often seems pretty expensive, but if i look closer - for 4,49 you get 75 Plat which you can use for an Color-Palette.

I've to say... at first i didn't understand that if you spent 75plat you get the whole palette you want to - not only one color, because i am accostumed that in almost every other (F2P) MMO(RPG) you pay 3 Bucks for one Color, and often ontime-use-only... here you get for around 5 Bucks a whole Color-Palette which you can use for almost everything...for your frames, weapons and ship... and if i consider this i don't find the platinum that expensive as at the beginning.

So to get straight to my point, maybe you also should look into what you can get for the plat and does it worth it for´you....

Almost 1500 hours. Not a single cent spent. All Frames and most Prime Frames and Prime Weapons unlocked and owned.

They dont deserve my money. I spend it when I need to, on what I want to.

No company is worthy of support for simply being said company and / or what they do or represent, even if they are a 'shining example'. If they didnt do it, someone else would. If a better product or service is available, I'd switch to that. That is how Capitalism works.

Rhino Prime is a great tank frame. You can get it buy trading with other players or join a generous clan that will carry you through the void fissure missions.

I keep hearing this but I have yet to see a 75% off. I started playing last year when Plains came out and then took almost a year off and started back in June. Best discount I have gotten is 20%
