Need help farming quill standing so I can ditch the mote

Vomvalysts drop intact sentient cores which can be traded for quill standing. How you farm them are, go into plains at night, find vomvalysts, use your weapon to kill their physical form (they’ll now be a bright blue form), and now use your mote amp to kill them. You can destroy their blue form without needing to recharge with mote amp. Tested it myself. Linked a video below showing a vomvalyst farm

You can also use Ivara’s prowl to straight up loot their sentient cores, then proceed to kill them for more loot

Additionally, intact sentient cores dont give you that much standing, once you’ve got enough standing I recommend getting the Exceptional Sentient Core Conversion Reusable blueprint from the Quills. It requires two intact cores to change into an exceptional one. For this you will need a Radian Sentirum and a Heart Nyth, both of the blueprints are gotten from Ostron offerings.

With all these in mind, you can mine gems during the day and kill vomvalysts during the night.

Another option would be to learn how to play chroma in eidolon fights and get a squad, since chroma does not need to take down shields, all you need to do is help with lures, fast charging lures, Taking down limbs and the eidolon itself and void blasting the eidolon for unairu wisps for your team.

Or you could do profit taker to get Vox Solaris standing for better amp parts. Profit taker does not require a good amp, only part youll need your amp is destroying pylons and hitting the orb’s shields to change the elemental damage if you need to

do teralyst in a public party. no one is gonna care unless youre obnoxious and you dont bring a sniper rifle. really just play everything in public party. 90% of all complaints on this forum are because people refuse to play in a group.

i am just starting to work on my operator and amp as well. I have only done a single Eidelon fight. Would be willing to team up and do some runs.

getting started on quills i just followed the eidolon around in operator mode and killed the vomvalysts that spawn from it every half minute to a minute. killed any i ran across while wandering around too. usually had at least 60 by the end of the "night" and avoided most of the damage he puts out by cloaking when the energy blasts are coming in. once i built an amp from the first rank of quills i could i started doing the kill 1 eidolon mission for cetus with random groups. just make sure you know what to do so you can help out a little bit.
