Twitch Prime isn't free. There's a "free trial" which charges you unless you cancel your trial.
That's. Not. Free.
They also sent out a mass ingame email which claimed that it was "free". That's just unsolicited spam.
Lick those boots harder.
Apart from login confirmations, the last email I got from Warframe was in July for TennoLive. And if you don't like those, you can just unsubscribe. And it's kind of ironic that you previously encouraged players in another game to buy DLC so they could get "free" stuff as a bonus for buying all the DLC. You sound kinda like those "bootlickers" you keep complaining about yourself.
I mean ingame emails. I was busy in Fortuna and my cutscene interrupted itself to show Darvo's email. It literally said "here's some free stuff for you", with a "redeem in browser" button. Obviously not free.
Uh, what are you even talking about?
Lol? An in-game message is not an "email." Come on guy.
And you previously promoted a free set of weapon mods in the Payday 2 forums that could be acquired from purchasing a bunch of DLC, so not really free and seems a lot like that "bootlicking" that you keep going on about.
I'll pass.
It just *stops* being free after a while if you don't manage your ♥♥♥♥ which is a different matter entirely.
They're not free, they just don't cost *money*.
Look. If the damn grocery store down at the mall gives out free samples of Sausage A in hopes of drumming up sales, the sausage packages proper themselves costing money as usual doesn't somehow magically make those samples any less free. This is fundamentally the same thing.
...what even IS free by your criteria then? And I'm pretty sure money was always the whole point of the discussion.
No need to get passive aggressive.
The KEY difference is they don't charge you for the "free samples" a month later, so nope - it's not the same thing.
It's free unless you're stupid and/or grossly neglicent; ergo it's very literally your personal problem if it isn't for you.
I think we know who's shilling now... not that it wasn't as clear before.
That's pretty much the definition of free.
