Vega Toroid - Drop from enemies around/inside Spaceport.
Calda Toroid - Drop from enemies around/inside Enrichment Labs.
Sola Toroid - Drop from enemies around/inside Temple Of Profit.
20 minutes, drop chance booster, Pilfroid, full alert. 1 Toroid. Bring Nekros, because Hyrdroid doesn't seem to affect them.
I know this already, and I made no mention of the spiders.
They do seem to be slightly rare, but since they don't have very much usage it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem currently.
I shouldn't HAVE to play a certain character just to get a certain kind of loot drop.
I ran inside with valkyr into spaceport for 10 minutes just killing stuff and got 5 vega toroids without any boosters
Toroids are the intact sentient core equivalent for Fortuna.
Most likely, once they release the full operator / boss syndicate and the eidolon equivalent boss fight, we'll be drowning in toroids just like intact sentient cores.
Sure, it's kind of annoying right now that you have to go to specific camps to get them, but it's not like you can only get them 1/2 the time or have to track down enemies you have to double kill using operator like you do with vomalysts in plains.
When I farmed the 2 of each with nekros, I did notice that desecrate didn't seem to spam as much as I'd expect, but it could just have been me.
I'm not sure I'd want to even try as hydroid considering the huge number of nullifiers and scrambuses that spawn at max threat level.
