so i'm planning on buying my first ever shotgun and i'm curious whats better to use between these two

personally i do ♥♥♥♥ solo unless its railjack or relic farming so my baby is perfect for me ill take a screenshot and post it once this update is over

oi op when ya get to MR 13 i suggest using this it aint amazing for level 80+ enemies but still does a decent amount of damage to em and incase you were wondering what the difference between my rivens were i included screenshots of their stats:

@OP - turns out I did a typo (wrote crit rather than status), *and* my info was out-of-date.
(If you're looking for a Crit-based shotgun, I'd suggest trying Corinth. I've found it goes rather nicely with Harrow, if you happen to have that particular warframe.)

we seem to be playing different shotguns, tried quite a few of them over the past few days and they make Lich hunting a cheese, solo, not even one CP.

Also did few solo arbitrations, sure, initial oomph is lower due to lower status, but viral proc damage scaling kicks in pretty strong.

Maybe you wanna play 25 waves with me against destruction corpus on Jupiter with level 500 enemies and you can see you will not kill anything with your shotgun? Shotguns were only good because they can totally remove armor against grineers, now they are not so good. Only the kohm is good at the price to be so ammo inefficient to be useless on high levels.

Oh man, Shotguns are weak against level 500 enemies? Oh no, good God! Whatever will I do? I can't believe my gun won't work on an enemy level I will literally never, ever see because there's 0 point in going so long that 500 level enemies even come close to appearing! Oh nooo! NO! What will I do??!?!?!? Man, it's too bad there's not scaling rewards or anything...damn...such a shame!

You are right, but you also are not right at all.
Tigris prime is still very powerful. You just need to update your build.

my tigris prime kills basically everything under level 80 in 1 hit and considering i dont see enemies above level 60 too often it basically 1 shots everything i encounter

i mean even something like amprex does better single target damage than tigris prime, and thats completely ignoring how it chains to murder everything in the room. tigris prime isnt a good primary, it isnt even a good shotgun.
