Self inflicted status effects

Does anybody know how to inflict status effects on yourself with the newest update. I don't mean self damage and I also don't mean running into enviroments such as void lasers or fire pits. But I need a way to inflict heat/electric or radiation on myself

That was removed a while ago to stop people using rad to teamkill, duhoy

As said above, self-inflicted Radiation was removed ages ago, so people can't just put it on themselves and kill their teammates.

Well that's simply incorrect, there's another reason for wanting to be able to proc a status effect on yourself. That being to get the light buff from Mirage's Eclipse ability even when in dark areas, which you used to be able to do by procing Heat or Electric on yourself. As such, you could take Mirage into Eidolon hunts, which was desirable as Eclipse is stronger than Vex Armor when it comes to buffing weapons.

I can't confirm but try the napalm grenades augment for the penta and see if the lingering fire does anything

It doesn't. Back when the update removing self-damage first dropped, a Napalm Grenades Penta was actually still able to deal self damage. However that was patched and now Napalm Grenades lack the ability to deal self damage in any form.

That worked in the original no-self-damage update but was removed in the first patch.

You can no longer proc status effects on yourself, sorry.

Self-radiation procs were removed long ago, they were converted to electricity procs automatically. Now all the other self-procs are impossible too, since the removal of self-damage.

From incoming enemy damage.

There really isn't much incoming damage when you fight Eidolons though.
