Do I need to rank up riven mods to sell them?

Guides about selling rivens all say that ranked/unranked doesn't matter. But when I look in trade chat, every mod is always fully ranked.

So, once and for all, does it matter to people if the mod is fully ranked or not?

Will somebody looking at the mod see that its not ranked will not even bother to check what those stats will be when fully ranked and ignore it?

Well, you can either sell maxed or not, but maxed ones can be a bit higher priced than a r0.

It's often appreciated but not necessary unless the buyer specifies it.
If the stats are junk but the weapon is desirable, then often it'll be fine to not rank up the mod, since they'll want to buy it to reroll it anyways.

if your riven is unrolled and unranked it will sell pretty quickly, i tend to only max out rivens what i rolled a few times alredy, or have some nice stats, it can bump the price a bit since it still cost ~8k endo to rank one up, but really not necesarry at all
