could someone explain me Equinox abilities and how they work??
im reading the abilites section, but i hate that isn't very detailed about how it works and that kind of stuff

First ability goes between Day and Night form. For a short time after transformation, you get a buff that decreases over time until it runs out. Switching to Day Form will give you a damage and movement speed boost and switching to Night Form will give you shields and armor.

The other three abilities depend on which form you're in.
Rest, which is the 2nd ability for Night Form, will make enemies in a small area of effect around where you're aiming go to sleep. They can be melee finished.
Rage, the 2nd ability for Day Form, makes enemies take more damage when you cast it on them.

Pacify, 3rd ability for Night Form, makes you and nearby teammates take less damage.
Provoke, 3rd ability for Day Form, buffs you and your nearby teammates' Power Strength.

Mend, 4th for Night, creates an area around you. Killing things will add to a counter, and when you recast Mend, all that damage in the counter will be converted into health for you and nearby teammates.
Maim, 4th for Day, is similar. Creates an area around you, enemies who walk within the area will get stunned and Slash proc'd. All enemies within will be Slash proc'd. Killing enemies within the area will add to a counter, and when you recast Maim, it will explode in Slash damage to all enemies within the area

In brief:

1) Switches between day and night form. Night into Day adds bonus armor. Day into night adds overshields. Changing this will cancel the effect of 3 and 4 without releasing any built up power from 4th ability.

Night (robed) form
2). Makes enemies motionless and retain whatever awareness they had allowing them to be stealth killed. Even if alerted enemies will take stealth damage and be unable to attack back until a % of their remaining life has been done in damage. This is useful for stealth missions or killing difficult enemies (bombards, nox, juggernaut, ect).

3). Reduces the amount of damage enemies near you do. Every enemy affected will drain energy.

4). Starts charging a healing effect. As enemies are killed, they will slowly recover the shields of the squad and companions. Enemies killed while charging will add power to the counter (top of the screen). When discharged, allies nearby are healed by this amount.

Day (skeleton) form
2) Makes enemies take more damage from all sources, but also makes them attack and move faster. This effect can be active while the enemy is restrained from other abilities (such as Night form's 2) making the enemy take more damage, take stealth damage, but be unable to act.

3) Gives bonus ability strength to enemies within range. Only one of these effects can be active, but it will stack with other increasing effects (growing power, energy conversion, ect).

4). Starts charging a damaging pulse. Enemies within the aura range will take small amounts of slash damage and have a slash proc applied. Enemies killed within the aura range will add to the counter. When discharged, the number of the counter will be dealt to enemies within the radius, but not be evenly distributed.

It is confusing at first. Equinox has basicly 7 ablities, and they all work weird.
