Actions have consequences and you won't learn anything if your ban is lifted. Especially with such an amoral offense.
Well good luck with that.
You're an idiot, OP. And they're not going to see it here, but good on you letting us all know your mistake. Funny stuff.
sounds to me like she did take it normally. or am I the only one who expects to be told off and, depending on how aggressive I'm being, slapped/kneed for demanding to see some random woman's naughty bits?
4_chan jokes stop being jokes when you take them off 4_chan.
If you spent money, consider that gone as you went against their TOA. In no way does contributing money allow you off the hook. If you spent money I'm pretty sure they could even trace where you live and still press charges.
" it was a Joke I thought Rebecca could take normally"
Saying the above seems to point out that it's Rebecca's fault or that this type of behavior is normal, it was not.
It was your fault and your behavior that caused this to happen, you typed out a thought, it took you 20+ key strokes and finally press enter, while in a live dev stream.
If you don't understand why this is wrong, do the above action above at your place of work to a random female.
You do also need to realize she works for a company that doesn't take kindly to this kind of behavior.
For your actions/behavior, man up to consequences, reflect/learn from what you did, be thankful the consequences were not worse and move on.
Rule #5 of the internet: If you are going to say something like to channel Ops, whatever you do.....make a alt account. it is easy to download and run (or grab a portable app) of either firestorm or google for the alt, say the comment, sit back, augh, rinse and repeat.
Now to get more serious: After talking to someone last night in game about the meme, part of me wants to say doing something like that in front of the camera and .... well you are kind of asking for it. The other part of me wants to say "dude! Why even say that", so I can neither condone nor condemn you on that.
Ignoring what I just said above, Jesus! Banning someone off twitch is one thing, but banning from the game .... yeah that is a step too far. I mean if you were griefing, or team killing (unless you are in nightmare mode, impossible to do), or even cheating then yeah I can see the ban hammer fall but for that? A Step too far. Hell, if they want to perma ban then at least refund a portion of the money (if you spent any) back to you.
[quote=IcarusI Promess this won't happen again and I will think about what I say before I act.
I just hope I get a second chance...My in game name is -Chancellor- [/quote]
I have no idea if the dev's check steam, but as someone else said try to strike up a private conversation with them, use a alt if you have to. I doubt it was your attempt to do, but this comes across as almost like a battle cry for "someone defend me".
Either way, sounds like you have a ton of work to mend brides, so good luck to you.
Ooofffff, mate.
I'm sorry you became a victim too. You've been on these forums for quite so time now saying the same things. You might need to call the authorities to make DE free you from their basement in which they keep you in. Or bait more to get banned . Sorry, banned again .
Now to actually give useful information* I suggest you go to the official forums and tell DE about the message that got you banned. They are not going to see this thread and do anything about your ban unless you bring it to them. You have to understand some companies / some people do not appreciate jokes that inlcude that type of humor, and there is nothing you can do against it if they truely feel offended, or just don't allow it for obvious reasons. The best thing you can do is learn from this and do better next time. It takes a really brave person to admit their mistakes, that much anyone can respect. Good luck getting that ban lifted. I'm sure if you just explain it will be resolved, but i would not expect it to be soon.
Just wait until 2036.
