Damage scaling and resistance on Splinter Storm suffers, so it's not for that - it just makes her a really good CC and Support frame. It's fun anyway, lots and lots of Energy for everyone.
Unfortunately her Splinter Storm is most important. :/
You may as well play with a Nekros or Nezha. An actively killing Nezha who knows how to use their Blazing/Reaping Chakram and the 4th ability would make it rain orbs of both kind.
Laying down pizza's are too restrictive when I need to move around a large area to avoid death, I would rather be vacuuming up energy orbs instead as I move around and CC/kill.
That also means they don't have to die by the Chakram. As long as they've been marked by it, when they die by any means those orb drop chances roll.
Still, I don't use that ability too often as it feels really awkward. But since this augment only mentions "enemies that die within" Spectorage, that's actually not that bad of an idea now that I think about it. As long as you're going for range and all that, as long as the mod description isn't incorrect and enemies don't have to die to their self damage but rather any source while they're within its diameter.
I've been combining it with Magus Anomaly to group a load of enemies, and just chop them up and have dozens of orbs drop. Even without Energize you can sustain ridiculous amounts of Energy, but Energize has that AoE pop that's just too good.
