Orthos Prime, the weapon that is underestimated

So, I thought I discovered how to properly use Orthos prime. Some people seemed to think it sucks, and that I wasted forma and stuff doing so, and that my build sucks.

Well, my experience proves them incorrect. I was going to make a video to showcase the build, and explain it all, but I wanted to see if videos like that existed.

They do.

And there's some good end game builds, yes, you read that correctly, end game, with orthos prime, I know, take your time to digest that.

I thought orthos prime would become useless at about level 50+, as I had no issue with enemies below level 50.

Boy was I wrong when I saw someone effectively killing level 100-300+ with it.

Here's one video. My current build is very similar, and yes, I've used the BERSERKER mod on it from the start.

The clowns at "Warframe University" put me down for this. How can you call yourselfs teachers when you're so rude and arrogant and closed minded? But this only fueled my determination more.

It really comes down to what you want more: extremely high damage attacks that are slower, and overall a LOT less DPS, or do you want a HUGE DPS boost?

It doesn't matter which way you put it the orthos prime is currently one of the very meta weapons , i dunno who told you it wasn't good /shrug

It can probably be out-DPS'd by a properly built Plague Kripath Zaw, but no, it's not a bad weapon by any means, and never has been.

I love my Orthos Prime, I built an Orthos without knowing anything about it, just thought it looked cool, and it proved to kick ass in combat. Then I got the prime parts just from farming random relics, and now I'm using the prime. It's still one of my most used and versatile melee weapons.

TLDR: I've been using it before knowing it was cool/popular. :)

So basically I was right all along, and I shouldn't get rid of my Orthos Prime. Good to know, was about to make it an ornamental piece. I'll keep using it as I have no reason not to, but the Tonbo is also quite fun :)

Unlike the Paris Prime. Literally the first weapon I ever sold to make room for others, let alone it being a Prime.

not sure why Plague Keewar is less mentioned as stance is super damn fast and even tho I have them both well built I fine staff stance way more dynamic. And does more slash

because the range on Kripath with a riven is insane.

Keewar has insane range too.... but guess slide meta dictates any range weapon > any tiny bit lower range wepaon.
I do not play like that and Keewar stance actually allows you to cover more range withotu being a pleb with slide attack so maybe that is why I like it more.. I use stances, my own fault

I love my fang prime and orthos primes as ornamental pieces because I subjectively think they are very beautiful. I got ridiculed for using Fang Prime, but hey, it hasn't failed me yet. Makes me wonder if Fang Prime is going to be as useful as Orthos Prime in the long-run.

I can't wait to try this other stuff you all mentioned =(^_^)=
