Mod to replace "Maiming Strike"

I have a question, is there have any mod can replace for Maiming Strike? Should i buy it for melee build because i'm using guandao for main build.

Melee rivens can get the same effect as Maiming Strike. That's about it, it's an otherwise unique mod effect given by nothing else.

i'm afraid hard to afford riven mods when all plats i have so far still save for many Reactor and Catalyst.

Maiming Stroke makes you a one-trick-pony, no other mod in this game does that.
In that sense you cannot replace it.

But doing hybrid build with both Blood Rush and COndition Overload is way more flexible and imho fun way to play this game. With Weeping Wounds in there is is a blast to play, ofc not every weapon can do that well but ones that do are just pure pleasure, most notable are Zaws as you can make them exactly like you want it.

Especially as Melee 3.0 will likely kill Maiming Strike as we all know it, there are not that many reasons to invest in such thing at the moment.

FTR: 3500 hours in, used Maiming Strike for like couple of hours when I was farming credits as a newbie on Gabii Ceres. Never used that weapon anywhere else. Game is fun and I still can carry wthout it so it is not really abroken mod but just braindead to play.

Condition overload benefits from status effects. Weeping wounds help inflict status. Math is clear, my best melee weapon has both of them in and it is just flat out better than anything else

I personally go with:

Primed Pressure Point
Drifting Contact/Body Count
Blood Rush
Organ Shatter
Primed Fever Strike/Virulent Scourge
Voltaic Strike
Primed Fury/Berzerk
Spoiled Strike

on all of my crit melee and it works great. I do own Maiming Strike but I refuse to use it, since I have better things to do than Spin2Win all day.

first time know about Zaw, can you tell me how to get Zaw?

Cetus, talk to Hok, rank up there and make stuf.
Sepfahn Stave is likely the easiest one to build as it requires 1 forma for op build - Sepfahn, long grip, and heavy counterweightthat adds damage and maybe status (some status, not all in).
Weapon ha ssuper fast stance so if you see 0.717 attack speed that is more like 1.20
