Eidolons Shield one shotting. I'm confused

Sometime ago I was doing eidolons with my friend. So we had Volt joined us at the very start of the misssion. We captured a teralyst as usually(It takes 4-5 minutes for us). But once the grantulist had spawned, Volt started to take off its every shield in one-two shots untill the end. The same thing he did to Hydrolist. The main question is: HOW. I know about madurai infinite damage charge but it is limited to 8 shots. And Volt could not precarge it as he joined us via Konzu in Cetus. Ho did he manage to make so many one-shotting stacks to take 12 shields in a row?Or is it something else i don't know about?

Yep. I realize that. But I have never seen people doing so much damage solo in so short period of time

They charge it up when ever they aren't doing anything else, and purposly don't fire their weapons. If you have a decent amount of charge you can oneshot the shields at each phase with just the 8 charges.

x77 amp can 1 shot hydro shields pretty easily, about 15x is enough for a 1shot of its first shield. you can charge a 7x while waiting for shards after gragan goes down(from time of gragan going down (30 sec screaming phase) to time of inserting shard into altar). Take note that this is without factoring UW.

With UW you can 1 shot at 7x

x77 amp has 2x more damage, 50% crit (compared to 32%) than x23

However these values are assuming said person has not "fumbled" any shots with the x77 amp. If you use it, you will understand what I mean.

So a new t7 scaffold is much better than t2 one?

If you're good at Eidolons, you'll be charging VS (unless Chroma obv.) ALL the time. The only time you aren't charging is when you're shooting, or using an Ability in the Frame. Charge non-stop, and that way you can always one-two shot shields.
