I just hate when she is Sortie boss (as in what, yesterday? 2 days ago?) and you go and there are multiple people who don't know how to do her fight... and because she was sortie boss her orbital bombardment is brutally destructive. People going down left and right and no one rezzing others except me ... (at least Im Vaz with a good shield and insta revives) ... and none of the people in the group know her mechanic... so I have to hit all the buttons...

at least I was mesa, and when she did show her face I blew her to shreds in 2 seconds flat with Peacemaker.

It adds some lore right? it shows the Grineer also enjoy some entertainment, some kinda medival type of gladiator entertainment.

that said, I do feel it heavy goes agains Kela's original lore which was far more serious and interesting.

but then that was warframe when it started, far more serious and interesting.

Dude, supersonic bombard rockets, several of them, dodging that crap isn't that easy, she is not a Dark Souls boss.

The comment you replied to is basically all I do to dodge the rockets. I simply dodge, no mystery involved, no complex or deep movements, just pressing A or D and hitting the dodge key. If the timing goes right, I take no damage, and if it doesn't, I take a very low splash damage due to distance and the roll DR.

you mean the bit where she keeps a company of marines around for her entertainment? or did they retcon something back when she was still a slightly modified heavy gunner?

According to the wiki she was in charge of training the Grineer and Lotus talks to you instead of Cresa Tal mentioning a "power vacumm".

there is nothing in the wiki about her being in charge of training.

the "power vacuum" may have been in reference to her ties to court.

I mean her special position of power and having a listening ear/direct line with the queens.

Possibly one of my biggest disappointments regarding Kela is how she pronounces her name. The Americanized English just ruins what would otherwise feel like a tribal name.

That's why you do it solo.

Well, I was underequipped for soloing it, so instead I queued with a corrosive Sicarus Prime and Saryn. I stripped her armor and then the rest of the Logang finished her off.

I prefer to carry groups (reminds me of my days in WoW). But, if you have mesa, frost, limbo.. you can easily solo her. I don't even strip armor, just 4 and watch her fall, before she can even fire her first salvo of one shot rockets, she's on to next phase. Whole encounter (including getting to her) was ~4 mins.

Well, I'm someone who played 5 years without having an operator form that made my warframe theoretically immortal. Not exactly my first thought to use it to tank or dodge damage.

All you have to do is walk in a circle around the central arena when the missles fall. As the 1st one explodes the 3rd one will be launching. Literally, just in a circle, as the final one is launched the targets are ready to be shot at.

One of the easiest bosses period, next to sergeant and Phorid. She just has more health is all.
