Harrow cannot give overshields to his teammates, and considering the rest of his kit, that part would be basically useless. I get that you don't like that your favorite frame is just completely subpar, but to use overshields as some kind of ultimate argument is just silly. You want to talk about Harrow? Fine, let's talk about Harrow:

• Harrow has a doubled overshield cap;
  
• His first ability allows him to replenish his shields and lock enemies in place for super easy headshots. You can even spam it on the same group of enemies to effortlessly push your overshields to the massive cap;
  
• His second ability consumes those shields for a huge bonus to fire rate and reload speed, which is godly for weapons that don't have either. He also heals his allies with the damage dealt while under the effect of it. In terms of gameplay, health is always a more effective defense than shields because of the armor that backs it up. Health never takes full damage, shield always does, obvious things like Blessing excluded;
  
• His third ability gives everyone within range energy per kill, and rewards headshot kills with four times said energy. Combine that with his first ability, and you can endlessly chain headshots while locking enemies because of how easy it becomes to headshot, and how much you replenish your energy each time you do a headshot kill;
  
• His fourth ability is on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level of giving red crits to a weapon that wasn't even modded for crit, nor should be. That alone is already a great reason to pick him, since doesn't only benefit him, but his teammates too.

So Mag can give overshields and an aimbot against a single enemy.
Harrow can give healing, energy, absurd crits and rewards precision. He doesn't need to give anyone overshields because there's nothing left alive to shoot those overshields after he's done doing his mojo.

Also, even headshot enemies while bullet jumping and gliding through the air. If your aim is bad, that's on you, but don't push that on other people as if it was rocket science for everyone else. By the way, my framerate doesn't go above 25 and is often at 15.

Possibly, but considering that relying on just your weapon in level 100+ content isn't advisable IMO, being able to melt enemies with just a weapon isn't a good measuring tool to me, even more so when you consider some of the better weapons for pure damage often have ammo economy issues unless you're running Carrier.

That being said, if you forma a weapon enough and put on the right nods/rivens, pretty much any weapon can melt anything you aim it at (there are exceptions, naturally), but it's a matter of how much time and investment someone is willing to put into something.

People ask for the best weapon, not the most effective that is easy to get, not the cheapest to make good, the one that simply has the highest dps or kills the most. Although not accessible to a majority of the playerbase, these weapons are things like the opticor or scoliac with a really lucky riven mod. That is not some disputable opinion, the opticor crit build with a 200% cc/cd riven just simply has the highest damage per second in this game.

But that assumes that "best" means "highest DPS", and for some that's not the case. For me, "best" means ease of use with my play style as well as decent DPS and how well it goes with the frame I'm using. Yeah, I can spend a ton of plat and kuva on getting a DPS monster like Opticor completly kitted out (and at some point I probably will just so I have it), but that doesn't fit with how I play, so it's not "best" for me, which is why I say that "what's best" is ultimatly subjective, because everyone is going to measue it with different criteria.

If you’re nit picking than sure what’s best to you is subjective but when a player jumps onto a forum and asks what’s the strongest or best weapon, he is just talking about the strongest weapon, it’s not rocket science. Best weapon in video games has always meant the best weapon, maybe if he asked for the best weapon to go with X or the best weapon with this trait ect.

Saying no one will pay 1.5k for a good riven to turn the scoliac into the highest dps melee in the game.... I have 30k plat in my inventory right now from buying mods worth 2k+ and selling them for more. Go to the warframe riven market website and you will see a listing of thousands of mods anything From 1k-30k plat and heaps sell and even more are listed every day. Rivens aren’t this small thing no one deals with, rivens are what create the highest DPS possible in a weapon category.

These poor kids who havnt made plat a day in their life don’t know nothing.

the question is pretty simple, the best over all weapon without the riven modifier. cause if you want to add rivens in to the mix, then anything can be the best. your argument about how people should just just learn how to essentially "live" in the game and make plat to get the best riven, is about as dumb as they come. wow, good job. you wasted your life making 30k fake online currency. is that something to be proud of? and guess what, mass majorty of players do not want play the game to "work" the virtual economy. idiotic elitest like yourself should just stay in your mom's basment and crank that fake currency to validate your self worth.
