Eh, given it's overall stats, I'd stick with the Prime. The extra status chance means more procs which means more damage long term IMO. But like you said, both weapons kinda suck so to each their own.

While 150 is, indeed, a "higher level than 40", you're exaggerating an issue based on a fault in your own statement. Dealing damage to an enemy around 50 is hardly equal to dealing damage to an enemy at 150.
