Is this a trash riven?

This is my first time to unveiling a riven mod. Is this considered as a trash mod?

Hum... not a trash mod, but the -fire rate is a problem if you using Haymaker for the grip, forcing you to rely on fire rate mods or arcane, the worse part is the projectile speed, catchmoon don't hit enemies 1m~3m close and the projectile speed only increases that distance(will they fix it?).
The critical chance is great though. It's a kitgun riven regardless, it's worth a lot, but the roll? Not rly.

+ damage to grineer is useless and the fire rate will mess up builds with lovetap and haymaker, i recommend you to roll again, crit chance is good but is preferable with other stats.

Since it's your first riven, I suggest to look at https://riven.market/ , also catchmoon rivens are rly expensive, the cheapest is 450pl and I belive a lot of ppl want and are using catchmoon. Don't sell it cheap.

The catchmoon is a fantastic kitgun. Definitely my favorite secondary atm. That said, I'd reroll the riven you got for damage and crit chance/damage. While I'd say the +damage to grineer ain't bad and the crit chance is fantastic, the -fire rate is very damaging for the catchmoon and the projectile speed is fast enough as is.

(Keep the riven. The catchmoon is a great investment.)

Yeah, I don't know how far you are from getting a kitgun, but you should keep it.
If you rly want to sell, don't waste it. I bought a rattleguts riven for 250, if catchmoon didn't had this problem of not hitting too close, I would pay 500pl for it. Be greedy, because everybody wants it.

Mods for the crafted weapons should be pretty awesome. I have a daily special catchmoon gun that does way over 12k per shot and I havent even put much effort into it yet and no riven yet. That said I would reroll yours a few times to see if it could be better. Its solid, but there are much better options.

I think if you sold it you would be sorry later, but if you can get 500P for it, not THAT sorry. Depends on whether you need plat or not, and whether you have a different gun you want a riven for more, and what you could get in exchange. I could be wrong, could be the price is already peaked, but I think not. I think ppl are just not figuring out what they want in a kitgun and the price will peak in a month or so, then slowly eek down as people who want it have it and as more are found.

I wouldnt trade my zaw riven for 500. Maybe 5000. But then again I have 2 zaws sharing it and I don't need anything I can get with plat (down to buying new quest frames if feeling lazy).

It's quite good, the problem is -fire rate
