ether sword vs fire sword

just crafted an ether sword im uhsing a lvl 24 fire sword atm, which is better and why

also i cant seem to fight with the same weapons more than a few days whats a good primary yall would recccomend im currently on phobos so you can get an idea of how far i am in the game im also MR 4

Heat Sword is better. Total damage is higher, 20% status chance which is high and ground slam has chance to set enemies on fire which makes them unable to fight because they try to put out the flames.

Ether wepons are pretty bad except the gram, i recommend you getting the dual heat swords, those are an upgrade from the single handed version.

You should max the fire sword and max damaging mods and status chance mods

Both have their uses but the heat sword is the clear winner. That being said, both are mastery so maybe do the Eather sword first then when it's 30 you can sell it to free up a slot.

1 handed swords suffer from Broken War Syndrome, in that you will eventually get Broken War and that sword is essentially best in slot for 1 handed swords. Also Iron Phionix is a terrible stance in my opinion, either of your alternatives are big improvements (hell, going without a stance is an improvement compared to Iron phionix in my view!)
