lex is an atrocious weapon DO NOT waste money on it

do not build it, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful is there any way to get my 50k back?

Exactly. The Lex has good base stats for a handcannon semi-auto pistol. This means that once decent mods are fitted, it shines. Even the Lato can do work with decent mods, but the Lex is great for it's ease of accquistion and low MR requirement. It used to have no MR requirement and was one of the two things I reccomended to new players (along with the Karak) because it's such a solid secondary for any situation.

Glad to see you looked at the advice, gave it an honest try and then admitted your initial impression was mistaken. That's a valuable ability too few people have, or at least use.

Modding is what is going to determine how strong or efficient your warframes, weapons, and other equipment is going to be. Though, a lot of the beginner weapons are not going to be as powerful as what you can get later on.

As for getting credits back that isn't possible and 50k isn't really much anyways.

Most weapons can be regarded as MR fodder. But 50k is nothing.

It IS a little outdated, but I doubt you'll find another early game secondary that can match Lex for its stopping power given that the old setup used to be:
Furis for full auto
Lato for middle ground
Lex for single shot power
So yeah, properly modded very few things beat a Lex save for some of the higher end mastery stuff like the Vaykor Marelok.

Lex at the beginning is outstanding. It does massive damage at that point of the game, at any range.

it just fires to slow formy taste maybe i can add some fire rate mods and fix it

Lex remains my best weapon for secondary.

I play weapons with alot of spread and low accuracy on primary so when i need to snipe something, im always happy to have my trusty lex to do so.

Of course if you didnt put a potato on it and didnt forma it so be able to fit all the good mods... yeah it will sux like any other weapon.

But comparing a stock lex to the stock furis.... lex is the winner XD

It may fire slower, but it has the damage to make up for it. Just try to slow down and pace yourself.

Sorry to say, my man, but the Lex is very VERY powerful. I, for one, used the prime variant for a good 200+ hours as part of my main loadout while I didn't have many other alternative weapons.
