Good Shotguns

Other than the normal ones like Vaykor Hek, Tigris (Prime), Arca Plasmor, and whatnot. What are some shotguns that are good, or that you just like? One that I rather enjoy is Sobek, especially with Acid Shells.

The classic Strun Wraith is my favorite at the moment. Granted, I have a riven for it.

Corinth is a nice alternative to the traditional stuff.

You can try the Phantasma if you want a different kind of shotgun.

Phage has gone out of style, unfortunately, but it's similar to the Phantasma so might as well bring it up.

None.. even the hek is garbage, way to long reloads and only 4 shots... pfft..

Strun Wraith, Corinth and the Boar Prime are amazing weapons. Get a riven and they'll become godly.

my favorites are regular hek since it deals huge damage and can fit the 'scattered justice' mod that the vaykor version cant, and astilla since it is essentially a handheld GMG with good range.

Strun wraith, large clip and balanced damage, only downside is the reload times.

Strun W offers a good balance of damage, fire rate and magazine size, with a top SC of all shotguns, only the downside being the somewhat mediocre reload(Still good, for. 5s a shell). My riven has a MS/SC boost and only one 60 mod is necessary to put SC to 100%. It tears up anything with absolute ease. Mod corrosive and it will ♥♥♥♥ up everyone's day.

Phantasma is excellent for the fun factor. You get a wide spewing beam of radiation that fits Vicious Spread and other flat damage mods, and pair with corrosive or viral and it will kill. Alt fire is a mortar cannon that is nice for wiping trash mobs. Downsides are the horrendous range and that alt fire can down you in a single hit. My riven buffs MS and has a blend of viral. The most fun shotgun you can get for practically nothing as the BP can be directly bought via market.

Corinth is alot of fun. Pump action shotgun with loading shell reload that you can cancel and fire off what ever amount you loaded in. Great for when you panic hit reload and don't want to commit to it. The alt fire is a Air Burst Explosion. You fire off a small nade that explode in the air and hits everything in the smoke.

Astilla is a rapid fire slug shotgun. The slug round explode like glass shards and hit everything around it.

Astilla + Viral + Multishot = Fruit Ninja simulator

Aim at their feet and their ragdolls even get sent flying upon death... which is what I live for

Most shotguns are very good. Convectrix, Phage, and Drakgoon are the only ones I would consider genuinely bad.

phage is not consider bad with good mods it can drop 100 lvl bombard with ease

The phage is very good with a riven, but most people feel that it's very annoying to use.

Can get some very good work done with a properly moded Sobek + Acid shells and a decent riven.

Considering level 100-110 is the max you see in Star chart and sorties, weapons that can kill that without too much effort are good in my book, even if they need 7 forma to reach that point
