By the way, isn't it weird to play a TPS in VR ?
Generally speaking that is, I have not tried VR in this game at all.
I have no doubts that in like 5+ years we can see viable VR options as there are already proposals for sort of infinite movement capabilities, think some models are already selling.
Warframe is one of the last 5% of the gamess that will be usable in VR, likely never just because dynamics and parkuor. Input lag would have to go super low in order for game of this pace to be bearable and we are years away from full VR experience.
Technology has good core, just I am afraid that limited popularity of it may llow down progression
But it will need a bit time until a vr profil without gliches will be availble. In the moment without a special profile there are gliches espacally with shaders and objekt gliches if you tweak, and that is necessary for vr, the fov to 110.
Playing fps shooter in vr (doom, bulletstorm, battlefront 2005, cod bo4, bf 4, 1 and 5...) feels immersive and satisfying. Vorpx is suppoting nearly 500 games in vr now with profiles. For me its not weird and i dont now any reason for playing not in vr this games except when i need a brake wearing my big heavy vr diving glasses.
