is this a bug my oparator appeared by himself in the ship and he looked as if he was peeking at me this happened when i came back from being afk and it was very creepy and when i got close it just disappeared

There is a sculpture you can buy from the lady you visit during chains of harrow that settles your operator down if you place it in your ship... well allegedly.

The sculpture is called Rell's Donda, and can be bought for ducats from seer Palladino in Iron Wake. In the past the wiki entry said it stopped random visits from the operator, but that info was either incorrect, or it has since become bugged and stopped working.

Yes that operator fully animated to stand looking around teh corner at you....is a bug....
