If you guys think about it, eidolons are probably the hardest things to kill in the game, they all spawn in "gara toht lake", which naturally means it will spawn thotts, the eidolon lures are the donations and the money that is used to reel in the thots, keep them dancing with the bait and eventually kill them, but it takes not only a spiritual destruction but also a phyiscal one hence why its necessary to switch between the forms.. its also very evident because they are always screaming and whining.... to top it off it only appears during a cycle (coincidence?)which leads me to believe there is a hidden meaning behind these eidolon fights.
