Shoot out of your sword
Hello,

There's currently a very annoying bug with the stat proc resistance Arcanes. When one of these Arcanes ''blocks'' a status proc, your melee weapon will get stuck. So if you're using your primary, your melee is now where your primary should be and you can shoot out of your sword. This is all very entertaining but you are now unable to reload, you have to first do a quick melee or swap out your weapons. When you're in a mission this can be really frustrating. Watch the YouTube video below to see the bug in action.

I had that bug happen, but I wasn't using any arcanes, so it can happen in other situations.

Any idea what it might have been? I've only been able to replicate it with Arcanes

The only example i've seen is when you're falling into the gas.. vent? in jupiter and you try to quick melee.

Reflex Guard mod might cause this bug sometimes too.

You sure? Just tested it and couldn't get the bug the trigger.

Had this happen more than a few times
Only connection I can think of is it usually happened when I switched to or from my melee weapon during a lag spike

You can replicate this bug using arcane nullifiers in plains of Eidolon during night. Running on shallow water or standing near tridolons during energy spike triggers this. A simple workaround is switching the weapons or using any warframe abilities fixes this.

Yeah it's easy to fix, like I said you can just quick melee. Problem is that it tends to trigger a lot when using those Arcanes and it's really annoying spending a couple seconds wondering why you can't reload

In my case, it was most likely a lag spike. I use quick melee a lot, so maybe the thing just derped in one of those swings.

This has been there for a pretty long time and no fix other than switching weapons or swinging the melee once or twice, it's not related to latency, it is caused by knockdown resist (probably any status or ko resist) most likely, since the character plays the block animation and the block animation uses the melee weapon and it gets stuck in your hand. Very rarely you can see it happen with stealth kills while holding primary or secondary since that animation uses melee as well or usually you see your guy stabbing someone with the barrel of a gun. They expect to solve it with the "melee 3.0" which as far as rumours go will remove holster time for melee actions while holding primary or secondary, and more than likely will mess up things that are currently working.

Don't you mean Sure Footed? I've tested that one and I've not been able to get the bug off that. I even run Power Drift on my most played frame and I can't say I've ever seen it cause the bug.
