I remember them starting some campaign against git gud when I left, the game is very quickly going down the toilet and its playerbase shows. They listen to "pros" not players. It is a shell of what it once was

You cannot stop people from speaking freely. If it offends you then step one : reconsider your sensitivity, step 2 : simply don't care, it's a region chat, you don't need to pay attention or get sentimental on every posts.

Trap is banned, gay is banned. People in there will use any single possible variations of those words just for the sake of saying "♥♥♥♥ you" to those who try to ruin the mood in a good game to keep their own little feelings "safe".

There is no valid argument to ban simple words like "trap", this stupid moderation is wrong and every single brain-valid human knows that.

Correct answer is, there is no point in them. So instead of crying "but my right to troll and show I'm immature of free speech", you should try to understand that free speech doesn't mean you can go yapping whatever you want.

It's not only about being offended, it's also about things getting too much. Just look at all the "I'm banned" threads here and know these are probably not even half of the total chat bans, so imagine how it would be that ever 3rd or 4th sentence in region chat be "Nezha is a trap" or "your mom is gay" and other such "innocent memes that people say for fun".

I for one don't want such a thing to happen. There has to be a limit.

Eh, guess why all those threads pop out on a daily basis and why some people like me who didn't care for a second about the Nezha trap meme before are a thing.
The problem here isn't that we can't talk about a stupid boring meme, the problem here is that NORMAL words are banned which is beyond ridiculous.
I don't know how chat bots work but if you realyl want to ban something then ban the entire quote "Nezha is a trap" instead of just "trap".

What's next? Ban " sex, minority, war, fat " and so on?
You won't teach the community by forcing them to shut up, that will more likely raise some voices of players who were simply enjoying their trip silently with some friends until captain white knight entered the chat.
