Why do people go off of the warframe market first of all it isn’t partnered with de so how much people put on their is what they are asking everyone that messages me says oh yea it based off warframe market but that site isn’t partnered in any way and people believe it’s a official site.(which is not)

Exactly, the trade chat is a mess, even with filters.

It feels like DE wants to maintain the RPG aspect to of Warframe with setting up stores at Baroo and such but does anyone do that?

The community would be far better served with a simple internal trade market built into the game that is managed from your inventory. Simple go in and mark items you want to trade as for sale and the amount of Plat. Then have an interface to search the system to buy items. No need for people to meet at trade kiosks and such. If they wanted to be real fancy they could even let you sell items or put them up for auction.

My point is this is very much a online action RPG but the trade mechanics are built like it’s a MMORPG. It just slows down a very fast paced and fun game.

You are right about this. Warframe.market doesn't make you prove you have the item, and I'm also convinced that people purposely put up fake sales offers on items they don't have, at low prices, to try to drive the other prices down.

Have people had a lot of trouble getting in touch with peoples on Warframe.market? For the most part the first or second person I message for an item responds and I seldom pay more then 1 or 2p over the lowest asking price.

Personally when I sell I find the lowest price on the market and price mine 1p less then that and go. My stuff sells quick and I make my platinum. I don’t get hung up on perceived “value” of lines of code on a server. I didn’t pay any real money for the things, it’s just something I found playing the game that I don’t need myself.

It's entirely obvious. An effort of price fixing by some people. People who buy the items at those lower rates and then resell them higher later. It's kind of sad that some people are so shady and dishonest, but that is human nature for you.

That is why you can (and should) report those sellers. It is a free market yes but trying to rig the market is wrong.

DE doesnt set the prices of prime parts etc, the players themselves do
And wf.market helps you a lot when putting a price on something, and when finding someone to trade
Trade chat is absolute cancer
And wf.market is accurate in the way that, players again set their prices not the website, the website only helps you in doing everything pretty much

gotta ask, what do you base your trades on?

I look in the trade chat and look on warframe market what people are averaging and I put it a little lower based off of in game and warframe which i trust. But what I’m trying to say is people force traders to sell what they say because off off sites they saw. Like examples I tried to sell nova prime chassis 2 guys force me to seek it 140-150 because they saw a fake guy or a bot off a site selling it low. Tried to force me to sell it. That’s what I hate

lol. True, could be fakers there, cuz that's free market. However, it's still not compulsory to sell or buy. It's pretty rare to meet fakers and ignorent dudes,tho, just pass them whoever you do not want to sell to or buy from.
