Overshields in ESO

Can you please stop with them. Some of us have builds that rely on Rage or Hunter Adrenaline and need to take health damage. The worst case scenario is my Valkyr build with Eternal War, which needs constant channeling for Life Strike and the about 400% increase in melee damage I get from channeling and Exodia Valor. I even run it with a Decaying Dragon Key to get my shields down to 37, but overshields pumps it to over 1200, which completely ruins the build.

Thoughts on overshields in ESO?

dude.... you do realize that some people who have strong status weapons can suffer becaus eof Warcry? Enemies that are slowed down tick slower which effectively hurts DPS of any status inflicting such target...

Yea man, that one time I have to cast it each round with it's whole 19s duration within the first 25m of casting, on enemies that are wiped within seconds is really hurting people. That's serious weak sauce dude.

And if someone complained, then I would move away from them when I cast it.

It's your own choice to use a non-meta Rage reliant build in a game mode that is filled with Capacitance Volts. Your logic is so flawed and self-centered that if you don't understand what is wrong with it after these 3 pages I don't know what else to say.

If you actually studied logic, you would know that ever flaw has a name. Why not name for me this apparent flaw in logic I'm making so I can address it?

I see....

A user who uses Valkyr, a frame that has limited crowd control and requires time to reach to X enemy for it to die complaining about receiving overshields from a frame that uses a build to excel in crowd control and eliminating a large amount of enemies...

The user then complains in a selfish manner with claims of "its a public game" over the fact that the user uses a rage build and is unable to gain energy.

Yeah, I can see which part ends up being selfish.

A better frame would be Inaros and nidus, except that they rely on abilities more on nidus and more for attack speed for inaros including CC finishers and large crowd control that just sproadically if your team needs it with his scarab swarm.

Sure Saryn and Volt will give you more focus, but for 8 zones ANY setup can work just fine.

It's almost like the only real reason to run ESO is focus farming....

ummmm... radiant relics come with it, those obviously boosted my platinum income from trading since ESO was introduced, even when I open most of them on random fissures without real radshare. Added chance for rare shows up over time.

Weapon leveling. As EV or Buff you can level up 3 weapons to lvl 30 in 8 zones. I've found this useful as I am at point where I already built most relevant weapons and I am left mostly with mastery fodder.
Not most popular thing but I find it better than playing Mr2 weapons on Hydron.... and some obvious downgrades like regular versions of weapons that I already have prime of, and fully built prime - where is point in ever using standard version?

Vandal parts are too rare to talk of them.

ESO is mostly for focus farming but if you look at exacty what it is in practice - in public mm it can be either of above, and in pre-made squads it is whatever cause you dedicate to.

If you get blessed with RNG-esus and first zone is Grineer - you can level up single weapon in 1 zone (with affinity booster).
That is 3 minutes with all the loading times and whatnot - that means you get ANY weapon fully forma'd in 12-15 minutes depending on how many forma you want to apply.
Can you do that anywhere else in the game? Next best place for full forma takes somewhat less than 1 hour

If you encounter this situation often in public, adapt. If you don't want to adapt then you're just a stubborn fool.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, i'll let you search for the author's name.

Or you can just run premade/solo.

As a matter of fact, the very rare times I go in ESO I use low shields frames (no Redirection) with Hunter Adrenaline like Saryn or (yes) Valkyr to be energy self sufficient and if someone gives me me overshields it hurts my energy balance.

Unlike you, I don't feel compelled to come here to rant against Volt or other frames who play their own frames and builds.

I politely asked if they would not use it. Then you people come here with a 2 by 4 jammed up your butt acting like overshields is more important to you than breathing and how dare anyone question its precious use.

I already gave screenshots of how my Valkyr build can hold its own against Volt, even when it's not working optimally because of your precious overshields.

You people are more intolerable than overshields.
