1k endo is nothing. You can quickly get that, so no worries.
Late game when you'll be playing arbitrations you'll be spammed with endo to the point where you need more credits to max some of your mods instead of endo.
Keep in mind some mods require around 30k endo to max.
I have enough with no more mods to max and truck load of ayatan sculptures in storage. So that person was clearly wrong. Act according to situation: if you need platinum more than endo - sell maxed mods, if you need endo more than plat - slow down on selling maxed mods. Although, endo can be farmed with ease. Trading maxed primed mods is quite a thing in the game, so this practice is not something unheard of.
Selling Endo is a prime source of plat among older players.
Also because it usually goes along well with selling primed mods ;)
Max primed mods! Just one of them-and here comes my new vanity outfit.
If i would have some left to buy :D
Not true, have sold ranked up mods myself
Selling sculptures can be a good source of platinum, too. Filled Anasa generally sell for 12P each. Check warframe.market to get an idea of how much various things will sell for and don't be greedy with your prices.
Well, depends on the mod as well. But as a rule of thumb: If the mod is worth selling at all in unranked version, then maxing it will yield more plat.
Because: Whoever will buy a mod anyways is usually very willing to spend a few plat more to also have it combat ready immediately.
Last time i did that was with Buzzkill (rank 5). Not the most expensive mod to begin with but worth trading. In maxed version it was selling like shotguns during a zombie apocalypse.
So thats been well over a dozen. And even though buzz kill is quite cheap compared to my usual wares, if i get into the range of dozens of them in stock i just put them visible again to get rid of a few.
They where explicitely asking for the maxed version, so many i had to get the unranked ones ranked to keep up. Within 15 minutes.
I doubt its lazyness of switching, its "if i can buy it maxed, why not?". Even though granted maxing a dozen Buzz Kills is not an issue - IF you are well equipped already. For most of my customers given their MR it surely had spared them at least an hour or so.
Some of them even asked for other similar MAXed mods as well, like sweeping serration. Which of course i had given its the same source, and quickly maxed those as well. Bulk sales ftw!
This then quickly grows from "Hmm i may sell a few in between with these 5 trades left before reset" to "thats a tasty business opportunity".
