Question about requiem mod combination

Since the requiem mods descriptions are pieces of poems, does the order you need to determine to kill the defeat your lich have anything to do with how much sense the three mods make when lined up? Or is it completely random?

Pretty sure they're completely random. Think of them as like the different-shaped grooves on a key -- if the grooves match up with the tumblers in a lock, the lock opens.

There's a clear intended way to reassemble the poem (Lohk-Xata-Jahu-Vome-Ris-Fass-Netra-Khra, in order by relic number then by relic reward table position from right to left), but that order has nothing mechanically to do with lich hunting.

Yeah, my current one has Xata first and Lohk last so OP's theory goes out the window.

Sadly not. You just have to try again and again until you can finally Fus-Roh-Dah y..i mean Fass-Ris-Netra your lich so you may Jahu in the end.

I had Fass and Riss being in the combo several times now, always swapping positions to any other.
