How did Warframe start to go downhill so hard?
I'm not active on their forums or follow their weekly coffee sitting streams but I'm just wondering how did Warframe and it's devs start to dip downhill? Every new update kinda flops and has tons of bugs, big updates like Open Worlds, Kuva Liches or Railjack turned out to be overall unsatisfying and the majority of negative posts about them really point it out. On the other hand quality quests and new systems like the whole operator thing that got introduced years ago that were really well made are nowdays rare or non existent. Another thing that's interesting is for example the community demanding fixes for old game modes/warframes/overall game mechanics that aren't taken serious by DE unless a big backlash happens that they feel pressured to do so. It kinda feels like they don't engage with their community properly and don't seem to know what they are doing actually, focusing on the wrong things which leaves frustration (again as seen from posts happening). Kinda gives me a feeling like they're living off a delusional world on happy dev streams with platinum giveaways and Rebecca showing new stuff while everyone laughs meanwhile they try to ignore the ship that's kinda sinking more and more with failing updates and complaining community. And I mean how come? Clearly that's not a minority that's upset. Whenever I go, whether it's in-game, here in the posts or the partners on YouTube that people agree on DE messing up their game with strange and unsatisfying new content or unfixed and abandoned old ones. Even YouTube partners that were more or less patriotic about DE developed a more critical opinion pointing out flaws and wanting a fix or change. The ones that were overall more criti quit or shifted to other games (for the most part). I would like to know what you guys think about this or give an explanation to this, thanks.

Imagine complaining about grind in warframe and with railjack it's optional! You can just go to the nav and select the railjack option and join others. There is no down-side to doing this and actually its better when you are building your railjack because you get the items required to build your railjack faster.

There is a big downside, once you get 30 pieces of salvage(new weapons/systems for your railjack) all the new parts you receive are instantly turned into one of the new resources meaning you end up with a inventory full of lvl1-2 parts and all those nice level 3 parts you get with random stats are lost...

All because DE decided you can't use the terminal until you have built a ship so yes there is a downside.
If this is true then it's a massive oversight from DE. I can't test this since i already have railjack built.
I don't know about game dying or not but if they keep up with the rng stat bs then it will surely hurt them. They should provide methods to control rng stat to make the game enjoyable.
For all the talk about DE removing a microtransaction for changing the colours of kurbrow and patting themselves in the back the liches and railjack is a step in wrong direction.

until DE removes it or give the players the opportunity to deactivate the Kuva Lich missions with a refund of all stolen items
It would be cool, if we could get rid of liches for plat. They even could implement it into the lore, like we pay Corpus with plat and they deal with the lich and get our items back.

Tencent buyout I'd say, notice how lately they've been doing down the more standard extreme pay to not grind/pay to win aspects of Free To Play? Happens to every game that they put their hands in.
Its been Tencent owned for a while so no. Also it is not much different then any other grind. Also just farm new prime stuff then sell it for easy plat if ya wanna skip it

To be honest the only real bad update I've seen is Kuva Liches. It's just plain boring, long and tedious farm for little to no reward.

RJ in the other hand is not that bad, in fact I find it pretty cool and fun. It just need a bit more balancing and bug fixes.
I'm sure they have more gameplay for RJ in stock but didn't released it yet.

I dunno man, DE did some fk up but they still have my trust to correct it.

Stop with that.

Digital Extremes has sold 61 per cent of its stock to two Chinese companies, with 58 per cent now owned by a subsidiary of the agricultural firm, Sumpo Food Holdings.

The other 3 per cent was acquired by Perfect Online, a subsidiary of Perfect World, meaning that the majority stake in the Ontario-based developer of Warframe and The Darkness 2 is now owned by a company with no prior history in the games business.

Overall, the issued shares were bought for $73.2 million. As part of the deal, Perfect World has exclusive publishing rights for Warframe on consoles in China.

Just google it.

Perfect World is the top Chinese competitor to Tencent in mobile games.. they are not the same company just because they are both Chinese.

I did hear a rumor going around that Perfect World or the food guys may be selling in part or in whole some of their stock to Tencent... although I have no idea how true that may be.. it was recent and I doubt even if it was true that anything has happened yet.

Nothing ... just correcting your misconception about it being owned by Tencent like that has some meaning to it.

Too many game modes, too many mission nodes, too many weapons, maybe too many warframes, operators were a completely unnecessary addition that pushed the game into an even more braindead state (haha le epic crouch toggle and hold X such difficulty revive haha people can die left and right with no consequence haha), and the list goes on. It's like the motto over the years was quantity over quality, and everytime they keep insisting on it, it piles up to be in an even worse state. It doesn't help that a part of the playerbase enables, encourages and almost forces such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, because fixing a game is scary and some people would rather keep on the path of braindead ezmode gameplay. People pushed DE and DE allowed themselves to be pushed. Meanwhile, on the very first day of F2P, Destiny 2 already showed better scaling, better weapon/character customization (statwise) and an usually more engaging and difficult gameplay without relying nearly as much on bloated damage and damage resistance. Sure, players can get a higher level and go back to lower level content to easily do it, but it's not nearly as bad as Warframe's case.

Are you seriously saying it was a better game when you had limited lives per day and were forced to stop playing if you died too much?
