Hildryn's Haven is also similar, but is LOS based.
Everything else takes at leasr a couple of button presses and some modding now.
I mainly use tank frames for up close and personal smashing of skulls but when I feel the urge to purge the weak with the cleansing touch of fire she is my go to girl..sooo much more fun than her previous AFK WoF ability
For "walk around and weak ♥♥♥♥ just dies", equinox or hildryn are your choices. they don't hit as hard as wof did, so you'll need some power strength for mid-level stuff.
new ember is basically just a weaker version of mesa. easier to use on low level stuff, but way squishier and lower DPS, so much worse against higher level foes.
The shock ephemera does indeed work for triggering the light buff, but it's honestly a bad idea. It doesn't consistently grant the light bonuses and instead flickers it on and off. It's honestly better to just carry something like the Sancti Castanas to shock yourself with a status duration build, as the shock debuff doesn't cause a flickering light. That way you can have the damage when you want it and the tanking when you don't. I also can't even begin to think of what you mean by Mirage being close to old Ember. Like seriously, that'd be like comparing an apple to a dead rat.
