Imperator is now useless in space... Why?
So not only does it do minimal damage to the enemies in Railjack, but now it also has absurd travel time so it can't even hit moving targets from anywhere other than point blank. Why did it need this nerf exactly?

imperator was always useless in space, when i think of the golem main quest boss fight... omg 10 minutes of low dmg chipping away his health with uselessator

all hitscan archguns are no longer hitscan. Because it removes aiming and challenge and Rialjack is supposed to be somewhat challenging.

As for damage, all archguns deal low damage to ships in Railjack missions, maybe that's why Tenno have some other means in Railjack missions to fight enemies.... Not sure which one, but some thing in Railjack missions may hit them strong and deal with them efficiently.... Could it be... Railjack?

No. The Railjack has the exact same problems. Also, even if the Railjack should be superior to archguns, that's not an excuse for how poorly attuned archguns are now for the environment they are supposed to be specialized for. They are actually better suited to the ground now than they are to space.

Base imperator was pretty bad, but the imperator vandal has been my mainstay for Archwing base combat (and ground archwing weaponry) since it was added to the game. I've used plenty of different archwing weapons, and the Imp Vandal has always outdone them all, works pretty good in railjack too (though you need to get pretty up close and personal if you want to land successful hits)

I kind of hate the projectile weapons in the game and have stuck to hitscan ones. The reticule has never lined up properly and trying to hit anything has been a pain. They want to make a better weapon to dominate the archwing meta? Have at it. But slapping existing weapons with the nerf stick always pisses me off.

I could deal with the nerf if we had something like proper AA guns, maybe some flak, rather than these piss poor close range zappers ( yes I know you can upgrade weapons and change them out)

The grattler is a flak cannon and its arguably the worst archgun.

Ah my bad. Still most of the Railjack guns feel terrible.

grattler rounds move too slow to hit fat moving ships you miss 95% of your shots and the reload is also slow for that type of fight i like the imperator vandal as 300 rounds which reload quite fast and it reminds me of old WW1 / WW2 style fighter combat old aircraft before misiles use machine guns and its high fire rate means it can proc some stats at a resonable rate

Precisely my point, we dont have proper AA guns and the like 2 that feel decent to use have the worst overheating issues

thats because the rounds go like 2 centimeters before exploding, I can throw a rock further than the grattler can shoot

The only usable weapons for railjack are Phaedra and Cyngas with high status build. The gattler is just unusable, dual decurion has MR1 so... I haven't tried the corvas, velocitus, fluctus, ayanga and larkspur although but considering everything is projectile based, having low fire rate is really bad.
