It still works and is better than running corrosive rad.
Tested.
:) 10k electric dmg into no armor or 9k rad damage where you still get 25% of it taken away.
That's my lanka numbers.
That's on solo.
On 4 man this allows the team to all run dead eye and get ♥♥♥♥ loads more damage, while still stripping all armor.
The other side is that in hypothetical well set-up organized squads with weapons geared for the task... You really probably do not NEED a whole bunch of dead eye auras to one shot the limbs already. When I was doing teralysts solo as volt, so no chroma buff or whatever, it still only took me two shots and about a second to blow a teralyst limb up.
edit: although FOR hypothetical solos, it's definitely a lot more helpful to go with shattering impact than trying to use a singular corrosive projection
Well you may not need it, but it makes things easier. Since the aura slot or the rifle damage doesn't actually influence the operator and the damage to shields in any way.
Polarity doesn't matter all that much. Drop a mod slot and you can change it. Also, 15 waves of hydron and 1 forma to change a frame that you are going to use for the rest of time for eidolon hunts, isn't all that inaccessible.
You can do that too I suppose.
I'm not. Still 2 hitting limbs tho.
edit: but, regardless, you and your groups can do whatever works for ya
At the end of the day this is just an alternative. When I can be bothered I will actually do the math and then come back to this thread and update it. For now let's just say it's very similar. Just, brings in another mechanic to play with.
And this content, is the only remotely challenging (to solo 3+ times a night) content in the game. So I wouldn't agree that it's the least interesting.
And yes its modded. I tested in simulation and it stripped grineer armour.
You then look at the limbs hp color once it is exposed. If it's red it worked. If it's still orange it didn't, in which case you just use the sarpa like 2-3 more times on him until it turns red.
The host will see the color change. But the damage buff still applies to everyone in the session. Tested. :)
