Advice for soloing the Draco mission.
Old topic I'm sure, but I've been having a difficult time completing this damn thing ( using MR 3 Excalibur }. After 8 - 8:15 min., I'm done in. I'd certainly appreciate a tip or two.

You only need to do 5 minutes of it before you can extract and consider the mission completed.
The longer you stay, the more the enemy's level increases.
Upgrade your damage mods in your weapons and warframe.

Pretty much learn how to mod elemental damage to deal with factions ( http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Damage_2.0#Damage_Types ), if you use frames like Excalibur use Crowd Control abilities such as Radial Blind (because new players tend to overlook CC in general and that can hurt them a lot), continue to upgrade your mods / collect new ones, take cover behind something when trying to use restores or anything of that sort, and learn how to move around more using parkour movement and NOT staying still ( http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Maneuvers#Rolling <-- be sure to see what else you can do parkour wise) because enemies will have a much harder time hitting you

So, I have a loadout slot that I call "Basic Set" that might as well be called "I'm MR 1". It consists of the following:

An excalibur
A Braton
A Lato
A skana

none have any forma on them. nor have I used any orokin reactor/catalysts.

now, full disclosure: I also have a helios sentinel that has a reactor installed. i also have 32 points of capacity left on it (meaning I'm only using 28). I also have 2 mods that a new player may not have (life strike and medi-ray), however only 1 of them actually tainted my run (medi ray). If needed, I can adapt my build to omit these two mods.

So, what can I tell you to do for this run? Nothing that hasn't already been said in this thread. Use your mobility. You have sliding, sprinting, double jumping, bullet jumping, aim gliding, etc. All of them are extremely powerful tools and will help you deal a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of damage without taking it. Use radial blind. it's honestly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how useful it is at even base range/efficiency/duration. not only does it stop enemies from shooting at you, you will basically one-shot them when you walk up to a blinded enemy and hit your quick melee button (default: e).

I didn't notice myself taking damage to my health until about 8 minutes into the run (which, btw, was how i noticed I had medi ray installed). using redirection instead of vitality would have probably made it easier to avoid health damage (that and not being careless about my movement).

I'm also going to go a little against what others will tell you and mention learning to use cover is important (so your shields regen).

the last bit I would recommend is (as literally everyone in warframe will tell you) is to make sure your mods are upgraded.

I do appreciate the feedback people. Some very useful information here.
I'll try some different tactics and mod combinations as suggested until I nail this thing down.
