Where are the women?

My wife and I have been playing this game together for a while now and we haven't ran into a single female that plays this game -- she really wants to meet and play with other women -- she has come to the conclusion that Warframe just doesn't appeal to females. What can DE do to make this game more appealing to them? I guess Fashion Frame isn't enough? Its a shame because this game is so damn good!

Why should DE make the game more appealing to women? They haven't done it more appealing to men neither. It's just how it works. Guys are still more likely to play video games than girls. That's it. BTW almost every girl gamer i know plays warframe. So From my experiences.....Warframe is still one of the most popular game by girls (after MOBA games)

But funny to see how the women are complaining about gender exclusivity, but what they want is gender exclusivity. What about just play with whoever you find cool and nice? Without looking on the gender?

But I totally fail to what the sex of a gamer matters.

I mean, it's a game, not a dating service.

And the truth is, there are a lot of 'creepz' out there, so I totally understand if the girls/women that are actually playing games don't announce their sex.

Just because OP's wife apparently doesn't like Warframe doesn't mean that all women are complaining about it and that all women are complaining about "gender exclusivity" as you put it.
In fact, I've heard plenty of guys complaining about wanting to pick their own gender in Warframe so I could just as easily generalize "men complaining about gender exclusivity."

i know plenty of woman who plays the game, they just do go around telling everyone that theyre woman unless asked, why? because nobody cares, the only difference you can possibly notice is their voice if they use voice chat, which is probably has like one in a million chance knowing that 99% of the people dont even talk while playing

I spoke about...again ....the complaining sub-circle. The louder group of people. AGAIN! If we speak about such topics and such people, it NEVER represents the full representation of these groups. AGAIN. Why is it required to explain this always? Because someone comes in and start to pull out these of context provoking such conversations?

And Frames are not person, they have no genders, only gender marks. But you are not happy with choosing your operators gender? Why? because you can't see that nice booty all the time? Guys who wants to select female frame are usually the guys who are picking female night elfs and high elfs as characters in wow, and are playing with pants off. Young guys still in the puberty phase who needs at least something to sprinkles his saliva to. :D
And how is SWJ even coming into this discussion? No offense but i think you have some serious frustration oppressed inside you. You should relax or go outside more and let the internet go.

Whew, thanks for that manifesto. If you look at the Steam forum, the "louder group of people" as you put it, who are constantly moaning and complaining about crap are guys.

I've never cared if my frames had boobs or not. I'm not the one repeatedly making threads to complain about it.
