My poor hands...
So im been playing warframe like a madmen for about 1 month. Around 150 hours and it turns and that me spamming the ctrl and space on my keyboard that much is making some serious damage to my hands and wrists and i was forced by a doctor to lay of any keyboard relating gaming for quite some time...

Now it seems like i can soon start up playing warframe again! But i feel like maybe i should find a way to protect against any 'real' damage... the easy choice is ofc to play less...

I tried diffrent macros but my questions here is do you have any good macros or anything like to lay of the constant ninja jumping and what not in Warframe? Eventhough u might not hurt you self like me some people out there must have find a way to make the game abit more... "casuel" in the controls?

Thanks :)

I use a joystick instead of a keyboard ... keyboards just are too painful to me.

Joystick and mouse and I can game all day.

I do not try to be negative or anything. I'm just curious how ctrl and space is hurting your wrist? What sort of keyboard are you using?

Try a multi button mouse like the tecknet hypertrak. You could also use a controller. You can use a ps4 controller, xbox, or the steam controller. The ps4 and the steam controller have gyro as well for better mouse aim however I am not really familiar with how well the ps4 gyro performs but the steam controller gyro is perfection.

You sure it isn't carpal tunnel?

Hopefully your hand heals properly.

If you have something like carpal tunnel, my honest advice is that you should seek medical treatment ASAP. That's not a condition to treat lightly at all, and can end up in you losing function of your hand/wrist.

Maybe your keyboard is too high and your wrist stay bent at large angle. Try to lower your keyboard or put something under your wrist to make it easier on it.

Get w wrist rest to start, and speak with a doctor about getting a brace, that may help if it is too bad. Tnen, as suggested, I would move to a either the multi buttoin mouse or a controller, it is what I had to do after a wrist injury left me without the use of some fingers.

This is why I don't fool with the spaz playstyle. I have 2 approaches to the game now: stationary (mesa style, defense etc) and terminator style (just walk thru, if it annoys me, I kill it, nezha/rhino/mesa/etc invincible with big gun). Sorry 'we wating at the exit' guys, my hands can't take it anymore, so you gonna have to slow down or let it time out.

Key mappig is your friend. Avoiding the supermarioframe crap, and mapping a to zoom, d to fire, and w to walk thru, mouse to steer, and its hardly any burn anymore. Kick the mouse to max sensitivity so about 1/2 an inch is full 360 rotation. The setup depends on what makes you hurt and avoiding that. If you must run and jump and spaz, make the controls for it easy for you.

im getting sum abs and viens on my fingers, broke a glass of water when picking it up.
