piercing roar seems worthless, and reinforcing stomp always looked like it would have a hard time making a meaningful restoration compared to how huge the available pool would be for an ironclad ironskin. especially when you can just refresh it yourself so easily.
Charge aug can help build some insanely high iron skin numbers but really isn't necessary except in high high level runs where they can take your normal skin down in a few hits. Otherwise , you're better off taking a bit of cover and re-casting skin when it's low than charging facefirst into a pack to refresh a bigger skin.
Roar augment is the least usefull IMO but if you're running with a premade group and basically just being buff rhino with roar, an extra AE damage + 30% damage reduction from puncture proc is something. Also, buff rhino is typically maxed out on ability strength to maximize the damage increase of roar so the 150 damage puncture proc will be increased significantly by power strength.
Stomp aug you already know but just to round it out, just like most other augment mods, it's affected by power strength so that with a decent power strength, you can be refreshing ironskin by 250-300 health for every enemy hit by stomp.
