Is the aim sensitivity on controllers supposed to suck

I go into the options to lower the sensitivity and it wont actually change it's still just as oversensitive as before

Using keyboard and mouse is not viable for me thanks to a permanent injury on my left hand. Dont bother suggesting that as an option

Hmm. I found that joystick aim on pc warframe was kinda ass. If you have the the xbox configuration box checked in your big picture settings try messing with that. you can adjust acceleration and stuff on joysticks.

Thanks. I found the problem thanks to that. Turns out whatever dummy made the official controller mapping for steam made the right stick joystick mouse instead of joystick move

There's more than one sensitivity setting. Make sure you're changing the right one.

This game is actually really good for controller. The movement system works better for it than keyboard in my opinion

No ♥♥♥♥. Look sensitivity for controller is what i changed. it's kinda easy to see. and it did nothing because whatever dummy made the official controller mapping for steam messed up and made the right stick linked to the mouse look instead of the controller look.

Joystick mouse has always been ass even on the steam controller. However if a game doesn't support multiple input types its the next best thing, least for the steam controller. You really don't need official config though with xbox, standard gamepad mapping should be more than enough in your case.

To be fair whenever i play keyboard my fingers are in tremendous pain so i do have a bit of a bias for controller

You know I wonder if the steam controller might be solid for you. Gamepad but you can use mouse aim and gyro. I would say try one if you can before buying it.
