I don't think the Corpus destroy the relay I think they just Litter the place with Corpus Ad.

I doubt judging on the size and general armaments of the razorback that it can "destroy" a relay, but it would be fully capable of killing all the civilians and that pathetic excuse for a station defence force, so rather than watching the relay explode, we'd probably see a mass slaughter followed by the corpus filling it with troops and resources for further operations, in that case rather than an event to rebuild the relay we'd most likely invade it and eventaully take it back after killing the occupation force and destroying the razorback.
Either way, it would still become unavailable to players until something was done about the situation.

Except that these events are fixed. Even with the Strata relay construction event, they aren't going to have a relay get destroyed from a regular, timed event. The Armada is essentially a timed event in that it appears after x number of invasion cycles. It has a percentage value tied to it, but this percentage value always ticks down in direct relation to how much time is left for the event, not based on the number of mission completions. It is all scripted and coordinated since DE can't go having relays just being destroyed simply because players aren't completing the mission often enough during the event. Even with an event to rebuild a relay technically in, they can't exactly let the event cycle take a life of its own.

I imagine we won't see much in the way of big relay changes until after we start getting close to a Railjack release in late 2019 or early 2020.
