Ascension Altar Construction Confusion

I've read a couple of articles relating to the Ascension Altar, but there's one aspect about it that still leaves me wondering. I'm in a clan with 2 other people, and we've apparently wracked up enough clan points to build it, even if that is not a requirement, but I am interested in the endo payout. However, my problem lies in the fact of whether or not partaking in the ceremony will affect our building/research costs should we decide to build it. I read for bigger clans, the cost of things go up, according to clan rank, however, since we are only 3 people, does it become applicable as well, or can we reap the rewards without the increase? If anyone can throw some clarification on this, I'd appreciate it.

Clan size (and associated costs) is based on members, not your Dojo construction state. Build away.

Unril you build barracks that increases size of your clan, all resource requirements in the Dojo stay the same.

The ascension altar is just a bonus reward for sticking with your clan. (Do make sure that everyone logs in and visits the altar within a couple days of someone activating it, or they won't get the reward)

The clan size is regulated by which barracks you build. If you have not built any barracks, then your clan stays at the smallest size. If you build a larger barracks, then your clan upgrades to that size and things begin having higher costs to build.

As for info about it, you didn't find any articles about the ascension altar affecting clan size because it doesn't affect clan size. You probably should have searched for clan size instead to get info that would assure you that you were going to be fine.
