Plague Kripath riven prices confusion

People are selling Kirpath Rivens for 4000-10 000p but when somebody says "WTB any Kripath Riven" and I offer them mine for 500p they say "No ty"

What gives?

when it comes down to super meta things people try to spam and get lucky to meet someone who eats crayons for breakfast and wants to sell god riven for 50 plat.

The aunt of luck needed to get these rivens is disgusting. I just wonder who in the right mind would drop 10K of plat for a riven.

i actually got the second best thing a plague keewar , it hits like a truck like the kripath, does pretty much the same damage, and i got lucky to get from the get a unrolled riven with

63.2% status chance
96.1% range
41.6% atck speed

pretty sure its close to being a perfect riven .... and for some reason it sells for a fraction of the price of a kripath, people are insane, both weapons for me at least belong in same tier and perform at same level.

if it had a negative it would be worth exponentially more. negatives do mean a lot because they make the positive stats higher

Last three days I am hanging around trade chat trying to get rid of couple rivens. And every day I see the exact same people selling exact same rivens for exact same price (4-10k). If you see such a price it is absolutelly not certain that it will be bought some time. Or even bought at all! I can imagine those people having their macro set to copypaste offer every 120 seconds while playing some other game on other PC, trying to sell those mods for who knows how long, hoping to catch a gold whale. Never consider those as a price check information or compare to yourself.

Yeah...like...a tiny bit. Mine adds two meters to my kripath. Two. Meters. So you saying those two meters, thanks to a curse (negative stat), add up to 10k plat to a riven?

Highest numbers are on a dual positive stat with a curse riven, always. Then goes double positive stat, then tripple possitive stat with a curse, then goes tripple possitive (from higher numbers to lower).

So from what you said I'm going to guess you are on trade chat. This means that everything is going to be around 5-10x more expensive then it should be and people will try buying things for a 150% discount. Along with the fact that plague star just came back so you can farm these weapons again the prices have "shot up" Trash tier keewar are around 50plat before the event, once the event hits they shot up to around 200-250. Kripath on the other hand, before the event they where around 150-250 but now I'd say around 350-400+. So I can easily see people on trade chat listing a riven that might sell for 1k for around 4-10k just to try and scam people. Because that's how trade chat is during events or items coming out.

People like that are playing Marketframe... another end game to fashion frame.
They try to buy low and sell high. They could just not make enough profit from you.

I don't think that any kind of riven worth that much, 2k is still somewhat okay but only if you just dont have anything else to do, but paying more is a nono, especially if the weapon itself is good enough without a riven

Asking price and selling price are totally different.

Just because you see people asking 5kish for a riven in trade chat doesn't mean they're selling for that much.

In fact, since you see it so much, it shows they definately aren't selling for that much.

Smart people wouldn't spend much if anything on melee rivens with melee rework coming because it could very easily turn out to be a useless purchase.

Not to mention the ones you're seeing offfered for 5k+ are most likely well rolled where the people looking to buy "any" of those rivens aren't going to spend 500p to buy themselves tons of farm time to get kuva to re-roll it to get stats that "might" be worth big plat.

dude trust me i would have triple the plat i have now if negs didnt matter... i hate it too but its just how it works
