drifting contact vs body count
does drifting contact make body count obsolete?

Even though their time stacks, it's probably not the most necessary thing to build for a 20+ second long melee combo timer. At that point, just Focus into Naramon and its Melee Counter decay, so that you don't lose your entire combo when time runs out.

Even though the Gladiator mod maxes out at what, six seconds? It's still better simply because it contributes to Gladiator's "Blood Rush" set bonus.

In addition to what's been said above but it depends on your weapon.

For a crit based weapon then use the gladiator mod.

For a status based one use drifting contact.

I use Body Count for weapons where that extra status chance is utterly pointless if I have mod capacity left. I personally don't use Gladiator Rush because 6 seconds is bit too low for my taste.

Use that Gladiator mod if you got Naramon up.
Might as well keep Drifting if you are using Condition Overload though.

Gladiator Rush also works if you have few seconds on your Riven and those 6 make it 10+.
again, only if weapon is crit only and ♥♥♥♥ all for status

otherwise Drifting Contact in most cases, unless weapon is crit only and you can fir Body Count, because Drifting Contact does nto need much capactiy and you can fit it everywhere.
On +-1 Forma situations I always go for Drifting Contact
