Even though the Gladiator mod maxes out at what, six seconds? It's still better simply because it contributes to Gladiator's "Blood Rush" set bonus.
For a crit based weapon then use the gladiator mod.
For a status based one use drifting contact.
Might as well keep Drifting if you are using Condition Overload though.
again, only if weapon is crit only and ♥♥♥♥ all for status
otherwise Drifting Contact in most cases, unless weapon is crit only and you can fir Body Count, because Drifting Contact does nto need much capactiy and you can fit it everywhere.
On +-1 Forma situations I always go for Drifting Contact
