how do i see trade history?

There's no outright trade history per se, but you could always contact support at https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us and ask them to check it for you. If they find any suspicious activity, you could potentially reverse it.

If you saved them via F6 (standard Warframe screenshot button), they should be in your C:\users\[PC-name]\Pictures. There should be a folder called Warframe.

You can't lose platinum without completing a trade and the trade system has many yes/no checks in place to make sure neither side screws up. Sometimes the trades may fail due to connectivity issues but if they fail you will not lose platinum or anything else you offered. It's a very fail proof system and so far no one has found any holes in it.

i found my screen shots. after i found it wasn't in my inventory i did message the guy but he wouldn't respond. he did make me wait ten minutes for him, so i was eager to get the mod. i believe he bait and switched in a non prime reach.

if he bait and switched thats 100% your fault for not checking. Don't waste the time of others for your own faults.

it's not a waste of time because if he goes unpunished it's allowing toxic acts in the community. plus it might just be a trade error, i've had it before where a trade from a trusted friend didn't give me the mod and the dev team fixed it. just like i finished the jordus precept and didn't get my atlas BP, the devs fixed that too.

Fixed. It's only toxic if he proceeds to talk smack about how he fooled you. Otherwise its simply you not paying attention.

i believed i checked the trade before clicking accept because i've had people try it before. it doesn't matter if i'm paying attension or not, bait and switch is a toxic act.

i've got a reply from devs and there is no record of any trade with the person, so the trade failed. i was unaware of this because it said trade succesful or whatever the normal statement is. plus i would have tried the trade again if i knew it failed. turns out i was paying attension to the contents of the trade. it just made it suspcious that after the person didn't reply and removed the mod from warframe.market. i think the trade went through on his side so he lost the mod and gained plat but i didn't get the mod and didn't lose plat.

i get that you're saying traders should pay attension. that's a seperate issue from people actively trying to decieve and you seem to think it's ok to decieve people if you can get away with it.

Kinda hard to do in Warframe. If any changes are made to a trade offer, there's a big hard to miss warning. And before the trade goes through, there's a big display message that shows clearly what will be exchanged and were no changes can be made.

I'm pretty sure DE will respond to the situation as every player here would. Like I already said there are so many yes/no checks in place that you should definitely notice if someone tampers with the trade offer. Even in the case that someone actually scams you it's 100% your fault for not checking everything.

Even when someone changes the amount of platinum, the number turns red.

I did a trade the other day and the buyer didn't receive the item but it was removed from my inventory and I received the platinum. After he left the party/dojo he received it.
