That be said, I've kept every frame I've ever owned. It's nice being able to swap between any one I wish to use.
In the end, if you "Need" slots. Sell the originals. Better than wasting platinum on slots you technically already have if you're holding the original frame.
easiest difference you can spot is aura polarity, on one you cna do mor epublic mm oriented build with steel charge/rifle amp etc adn on other you can to more of a role specific build like Corrosive Projection, as if you join public match and you are the only one with Corrosive Projection it is kinda the worst waste of an aura slot in written history, maybe even before that. Or solo play, Corrosive Projection is really bad for that, it is way better to rely on slash procs to get you trough the higher levels
My Rhino Prime gets to keep his Steel Charge and has all-round build while regular Rhino has Corrosive and is oriented towards buff role
If you don't use them then sure. If you don't like the non-primed version, sure.
But the Primed versions are neglibly better than the unprimed so . . . there's really no reason to prefer one over the other based on stats.
Limbo could be built for long duration smallish bubble for extractor or defense missions, with Limbo Prime built for large radius and stasis.
Primes are better versions of the base frames, and you can still use base frame skin if you want so is no reason to keep them. Outside of setting up special loadouts on the non-prime variations.
