Better assault than Braton Prime?

I'm pretty much tapped out on finding a more powerful weapon.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm a full auto kind of guy.

The Ignis would be more powerful though it deals out ONLY heat Damage so against heat enemies it would fall short. Otherwise I'd recommend the Soma Prime as it has a huge magazine (200 unmodded) and can dish out very high damage at extremely high rate with relatively low recoil.

Ignis is a flame thrower obtained through the Clan Dojo's chem lab

What are you talking about? Braton is a nice weapon but you need like 5 formas and a decent riven mod on it. Argonak and Tiberon Prime these are my favorite assault rifles.

Unfortunately most 'viable' full auto guns in this game rely on being modded into pure bullet hoses.

I'd like a more methodical bam-bam-bam to the standard BZZZZZZZZZZZZT audio-error sound that high-end modded auto weapons are made to be.

The best options are the Amprex, Tiberon Prime, Soma Prime, Supra Vandal, Ignis Wraith and Tenora.

Particularly the first 3.

They also eat ammo at an enormous rate, requiring the use of a Carrier or Ammo pickup / conversion mod.

All automatic weapons are simply completely inefficient compared to all Shotguns and Snipers which do the equivalent of 100 full-auto bullets, in 1 shot.

I personally really love the Argonak and a fire-rate unmodded Tenora is about the highest rate of fire I aesthetically like. But they're just not the best options. Not even with good Rivens. (Modding Tenora for low rate of fire, that is).

I am yet to get the Tiberon Prime and that will probably be my go-to Auto weapon when I do.

All burst fire weapons are rubbish. Absolutely rubbish. In every game I've ever played in my entire life, burst fire weapons are just rubbish.

No.

I am not using Burst weapons. Ever. Its single-fire or Full Auto. I count Shotguns as single-fire and Beam weapons as Full Auto.

When I get the Tiberon, its single-fire or Full Auto. Never Burst. Ever.

Well i have 99% crit chance on my tiberon prime build- i moded it for slash and virus dmg and it work wonderfull

Can't remember the name of it but I liked the silenced burst rifle from the tenno lab.

Other than that so far I like the boltor the best for chewing through grineer, just wish the prime wasn't vaulted

braton prime is pretty low on the power scale compared to others, tiberon prime, tenora, soma prime and even the baza outclass it
forgot the gorgon family, much better than braton prime

Ive found the gorgon to be pretty good so long as you upgrade it properly, both with damage as will as critical hit and chance mods. Only thing it's good against however are infected and Corpus (mainly corpus)
