Guys, this is important. I suck and I can't see enemies in front of my face.
Hi. everyone.

Like I said. I started playing recently and I have a really hard time seeing the bad guys, sometimes even when they're right in front of me. They blend in with the background and it's hard to tell frm what direction you're getting hit.

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to make it better?

Maybe color correction, blur, bloom, depth of field off and Fov on max

There is the reward from 500 cumulative days login that highlights enemies.

Reaction time, kinda. I mean I am pretty slow and have bad reflexes but mostly I look for dudes attacking me for like 4 seconds when they're 3 meters in front of me. I have a bit of trouble seeing people at long distance if some FPS games but it's never been that bad.

Try out a weapon that you can spray and pray with. When you hit something, the damage numbers will stand out and you'll be able to tell where they are. Turn down effects like bloom and motion blur in settings and turn up your FOV.
Been always playing without motion blur, and bloom on, but bloom is set to 0%

Having too low fps causes also that "I dont get whats going on", which is also true for monitor hertz but that shouldnt be sudden problem like this

Regarding monitor calibration, I have done it so that I'll search for written reviews and shemelessly copy settings and whatever profiles they are sharing

I cant think anything else to add what havent been already said :2016snocone:

Use some sort of enemy radar mod, they show enemies on minimap and stack with each other(animal instinct+enemy sense is my go-to for everything). Or play Banshee, one of her abilities do this along with nice highlight of vulnerable enemy bodyparts.

Using equipment mods for this sounds like a big waste when it takes precious space for mods that give you offensive and defensive buffs and stuff.

Wait what?

As a Warframe mod or some account-wide permanent function?

As function on weapon for 500 login days, duh. Zenith's disk highlight enemies within certian radius.

I dunno. You tell me. In most games when you have a choice between something that gives you +damage/health and somethign that gives you anything else that isn't combat stats related it's always better to go with +damage/+health.

And in a game like this, one would assume you need as bigs stats as you can possibly get for the "late game" tough enemies.

Only been playing for 7-ish hours. Most of which were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around. If this game is different I'd like to know.

First, Enemy Sense go to exilus slot, where you can only fit exilus mods. And they don't give much stats. Animal Instinct go to your pet or sentinel, which are not exactly your prime sources of damage. So tradeoff is not as big as you think.
Second, knowing where enemies are is useful.

Oh good. See I didn't know about restrictions like that or about "pets" being useful in any capacity. I'm used to pets just being cosmetics stuff.

Tankk you for the heads up.

EDIT: I broke steam quotes yo.
