You dont want me to send my build?
I managed to do it now. Though that was by getting carried.
Here is me failing miserably at even penetrating his shield for 6 minutes :)
Have fun. https://youtu.be/oGD7vHW56mQ
When it comes to design I agree that his moves of teleporting and going invisible are a cool thing. But when it comes to his repettitive stunning and insane shield I have to disagree HEAVILY.
What? Hahah, my heatsword is modded pretty much perfectly thanks. What do you suppose I should use?
@OP your video does show a few flaws (they mostly come from experience);
1)your movement allows tyl rygor to keep the pressure on you. one of the chief strengths the tenno have is their movement and you should take care to use that more.
2) you arent fully using your warframes abilities. either this was because youre trying to save on energy or because youre not sure how, but this hurts you in a fight against tyl rygor which is one of the first actual challengers in the game (the one that comes before him is the raptor).
as vault if you ever find yourself kiting in a fight you should take advantage of your passive. kite hard, rack up a nice bonus damage number and blast away.
youll also find that using your shields increases damage and critical chance for your weapons if you shoot through them. this would havae helped big time while fighting tyl.
3) it looks like your attacks hardly did any damage, which begs the question of how you built your weapons. you should post your builds for us to see and maybe point out some problems.
But then, ever since I built Rhino, bosses have been rather trivial in general. Tyl Regor in particular is a nice boss, though, since there are no invulnerability phases and "wait for his tiny weak spot to show up, or maybe not". Whenever you hit him, you damage him. Period.
As for "strategy" in general -- both Tyl and his summons like to melee you, so I melee them back most of the time. They also move fast, so shooting them rarely works. When they get stuck on obstacles, though, I pump bullets into them -- I'm still not very good at shooting, but I do it anyway.
Still, I take things slowly and don't rush through the game. I might possibly have "above average" gear compared to other newbies, and while some of that is compensated by me not being very good at some things, it might still matter.
Still, doesn't change the fact that Rhino can tank pretty much anything. And trying to knockdown him is just a waste of time.
Guess what -- you can't get Loki without beating Tyl Regor first...
I don't have Loki yet, but based on the stats I see on the Wiki, the decoy needs a lot of uber-mods to be viable. You'll run out of energy in no time recasting him again and again, and what do you do then?
Someone already did lephantis melee only

Ye sorry, forgot he was later in progression
as for his decoy its not that bad energy wise, the good thing about lokis invisibility is that you can use energy pizzas while invisible
You wont be able to kill him instantly, you need to dmg him till his next phase. He got 3 and the arena is getting flooded.
My tip. You got a high MR? Use Dual Roggers. The 2 hit him (with my build) and then you just need to wait. He is one of the most annoying, yes. But I hate Vay Hek the most in this game. His hit spots are so small, like his non existing thingy dingy...
Spoiler alert, he isn't.
