NEVER. EVER. BUY ANY WARFRAMES WITH PLATINUM (unless it's a few exceptions)
and it depends on what your Mastery rank is.

Whats your mastery rank?

You shouldnt buy any frame, just open your way to venus and farm Rhino from the boss there

Boltor is a good starter rifle. Recommended early in most guides, and I had a good time with it until I got a Karak.
Here's a general weapon path that I notice people take when they're new:
initial weapons: Mk1 Braton. Lato and Skana.
these weapons will serve you well for the first 3-4 planets (assuming you can get your hands on a Serration, Hornet Strike and Pressure Point and get it to R5 atleast)
From there, complete the junctions until you can get the Boltor blueprint and build that for your rifle weapon.
once you reach Mastery Rank 4, BUILD A HEK and then go from there.
Know this,

everything in the market you buy with plat in the market is a rip off.
Yup, buy the blueprints for credits and farm the materials needed and build it yourself.

Witha few exceptions like Mesa, who is painfully annoying to farm for and does not have a prime version.
I would recommend buying the Braton and a Lex, you can get both of those straight from the market for just 50k credits a piece. Braton is significantly better than the Braton Mk.1 you start with, even though it has a similar name. Lex has a nice punch for a sidearm and you can use it as a mini sniper rifle early on.

After that I would second the Karak suggestion, I loved that rifle when I was starting out, used it all the way until saturn ish. Though in hind sight I would not recommend using a potato on it like I did.
Braton or Burston. Preferably the Primed versions if you can get your hands on those. Anything else is just meta garbage that is just flavor of the month and will be forgotten next week

stick with your beginner weapons and rank them up to 30 if you haven't already. then grab the Boltor from one fo the early junctions. then once you hit MR4, Hek all the way to Sedna (if you can get someone to give you the Scattered Justice Hek augment, that helps alot)

Correct, you can buy the main Rhino blueprint from the market (with credits),and get neuroptics, chassis and systems from the boss

You will still need materials to craft them

Outside the two I mentioned. I also recommend the Strun shotgun, high impact for stunlocking with best results using a status build. Corrosive(Electric and Toxin) works a charm against Grineer and infested Ancients. While I personally prefer my second go-to status of Viral(Cold and Toxin) because it halves the health of the target. Either or works. Anyway, the Strun also has amazing ammo effeciency so you don't have to worry about running out of ammo. Don't let people tell you otherwise, the Strun with a potato is a wrecking force of death up to late mid-game.

Latron is another good pick, as it has puncture damage innately effective against grineer. Although it may not have the more prefered slash damage for proc'ing DoT from slash, it is super accuract and semi auto. Also it's much quieter than most other guns in the game, so it's good for semi-stealthy approaches while one-shotting anything that isn't an Elite corrupted bombard without a headshot
